About the Role

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Junior Content Writer to join our content team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, strong writing skills, and the ability to create engaging content across multiple platforms. You will work closely with the marketing, design, and product teams to produce high-quality content that resonates with our target audience and supports our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Write clear, compelling, and original content for websites, blogs, social media, and marketing materials
Research industry-related topics and stay updated on content trends and best practices
Collaborate with marketing and design teams to develop content strategies
Create SEO-optimized content that improves search engine rankings and drives organic traffic
Edit and proofread content to ensure grammatical accuracy and brand consistency
Adapt tone and style to match different audiences and platforms
Develop content calendars and meet deadlines for multiple projects
Assist in creating email campaigns, product descriptions, and landing page copy
Monitor content performance metrics and suggest improvements
Contribute ideas for content campaigns and creative initiatives

Required Skills & QualificationsWriting Skills

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to write in various styles and tones for different audiences
Strong command of grammar, punctuation, and storytelling techniques
Ability to simplify complex topics into easy-to-understand content
Creative thinking with ability to generate fresh content ideas

Technical Skills

Understanding of SEO principles and keyword research
Familiarity with content management systems (WordPress, HubSpot, etc.)
Basic knowledge of social media platforms and their content requirements
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) or Microsoft Office
Experience with AI writing tools (ChatGPT, Jasper, Copy.ai, or similar) is a plus

Research & Analysis

Strong research skills to gather information from reliable sources
Ability to fact-check and verify information accuracy
Understanding of target audience needs and preferences
Basic knowledge of content analytics (Google Analytics, social media insights)

Soft Skills

Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple projects
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Receptiveness to feedback and willingness to revise content
Self-motivated with ability to work independently
Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
Curiosity and eagerness to learn new topics

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field
1-2 years of content writing experience (internships, freelance, or full-time)
Portfolio of published articles, blog posts, or writing samples
Understanding of digital marketing and content marketing principles

Nice to Have

Experience with content marketing tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Grammarly Premium)
Knowledge of HTML and basic web formatting
Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact)
Familiarity with graphic design tools (Canva) for basic visual content
Understanding of brand voice development
Experience writing for B2B or B2C audiences in specific industries
Basic video script writing or podcast script experience
Social media management experience
