Full job description

Job Title: Admin and IT Officer

Job Type: Full-time
Location: Delhi/NCR

Experience: 7-12 years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT professional to support and maintain the organization’s IT systems, SharePoint environment, and end-user infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IT support, Microsoft 365 tools, and desktop management, ensuring seamless day-to-day IT operations and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in configuring, managing, and supporting SharePoint Online and on-premise environments.
Maintain SharePoint lists, libraries, permissions, and workflows.
Provide technical support to users for SharePoint and Microsoft 365 applications.
Deliver day-to-day IT support for systems, networks, and cloud-based tools.
Monitor system performance and ensure data security and compliance standards.
Support IT procurement activities, vendor coordination, and license tracking.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Resolve hardware and software issues, including user accounts, logins, and profiles.
Provide support for applications such as Outlook, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and other business tools.
Maintain and update IT asset inventory and ensure regular patching and system upgrades.
Prepare and maintain IT documentation using tools like OpenOffice (Writer, Calc).
Collaborate with internal teams using Microsoft Teams and other communication platforms.
Assist in onboarding new employees by setting up systems and providing basic IT training.

Requirements:

Experience: 7–12 years of relevant experience in IT support and desktop management.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive) and Windows OS.
Basic knowledge of SharePoint administration and workflows.
Familiarity with Power Platform and scripting (PowerShell preferred).
Working knowledge of OpenOffice tools.
Understanding of networking concepts, Active Directory (AD), system security, and user access management.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication in English and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Certifications (Optional):

Microsoft 365 Fundamentals / SharePoint Certification
CompTIA A+ / Network+
ITIL Foundation or equivalent

Educational Qualification:

Graduate, preferably in Computer Science / Information Technology / Science or related field.
