Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with 6+ years of experience in building scalable and secure microservices-based applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Java 17/21, Spring Boot, SQL, and distributed systems, along with hands-on experience in identity and access management, messaging platforms, caching technologies, and cloud-native deployments.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.

Build RESTful APIs and microservices adhering to best practices and coding standards.

Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth 2.0, and Okta.

Design and optimize database schemas and write efficient SQL queries.

Implement caching solutions using Redis to improve application performance and response times.

Develop asynchronous and event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka and AWS SQS.
-
Monitor and troubleshoot application performance using observability tools and logs.
-
Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams for deployments and environment management.

Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and production support activities.

Work in containerized environments with exposure to Kubernetes and OpenShift.
Mandatory Technical Skills

6+ years of experience in Java development.

Strong hands-on experience with Java 17 or Java 21.

Extensive experience in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.

Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases.

Good understanding and implementation experience of OAuth 2.0.

Experience integrating with Okta for authentication and authorization.

Hands-on experience with Redis for caching.

Experience with messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka and AWS SQS.

Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.

Basic understanding of OpenShift.

Working knowledge of Kubernetes.
