Position: Sr. Sales Development Representative

Location: Bangalore

Working Days: 5

Company Overview

Our client AI is an AI-powered tender management platform built for companies that need to find, analyse, and bid on tenders faster and with greater control. The platform helps tendering, business development, proposal, commercial, and management teams reduce manual review effort across long tender documents, addenda, annexures, forms, and compliance requirements.

Our client AI supports the full tender workflow, from finding relevant opportunities and checking qualification fit to analysing risks, preparing management summaries, extracting forms, drafting pre-bid queries, and helping teams move towards faster bid decisions. The product is built for Indian and global teams working on complex public and private tenders, especially in infrastructure, EPC, construction, energy, manufacturing, and enterprise services.

The company has worked with reputed tendering and project-driven organisations such as Bajaj Electricals, Voltas, thyssenkrupp, Toyo Engineering, Paharpur Cooling Towers, Shapoorji Pallonji, and other enterprise customers across India. teams use AI to bring more speed, consistency, and reviewability into tender analysis and bid preparation.

AI has raised funding from Titan Capital and Chiratae Ventures, two well-known venture capital firms backing high-growth technology companies. The company is building from Bengaluru with a strong focus on AI for tendering, procurement, and bid management workflows.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior SDR who can help our client AI build a strong outbound pipeline across enterprise accounts. This role is for someone who understands structured prospecting, can speak confidently with senior stakeholders, and can convert account research into high-quality sales meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Build and manage high-quality target account lists across EPC, infrastructure, construction, manufacturing, MEP, energy, IT services, and government contracting companies.
Research accounts, decision-makers, tendering workflows, recent projects, business lines, and buying triggers before outreach.
Reach out to CXOs, Tender Heads, BD Heads, Proposal Heads, Commercial Heads, Procurement leaders, and Operations leaders through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp.
Run structured outbound campaigns for India and US enterprise accounts.
Understand the prospect’s current tendering process, pain points, tender volume, decision-making structure, and urgency.
Qualify prospects based on company fit, tender volume, stakeholder seniority, budget possibility, use case relevance, and sales readiness.
Book high-quality demos and discovery calls for the sales team with the right stakeholders involved.
Maintain accurate CRM hygiene, including call notes, lead status, qualification details, follow-up dates, and next steps.
Work with sales leadership to improve messaging, objection handling, ICP segmentation, and outreach sequences.
Share market feedback from prospects to help marketing, sales, and product teams refine positioning.
Track daily and weekly metrics such as calls, emails, connects, replies, meetings booked, qualified meetings completed, and pipeline influenced.

Requirements

3-6 years of experience in SDR, BDR, inside sales, sales development, or enterprise outbound roles.
Prior SaaS experience is required.
Experience working with India and/or US markets is preferred.
Strong experience in cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, and multi-touch follow-ups.
Ability to speak confidently with senior decision-makers and understand business pain quickly.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good understanding of qualification, discovery, lead nurturing, and meeting booking.
Comfortable using CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email sequencing tools, and prospecting databases.
Ability to understand a technical or AI product and explain it in a simple, outcome-led way.
High ownership, consistency, discipline, and comfort with daily outreach targets.

Good to Have

Experience selling to tendering, procurement, infrastructure, EPC, construction, or enterprise operations teams.
Prior exposure to AI SaaS, procurement tech, construction tech, bid management software, or workflow automation products.
Experience supporting account-based outbound campaigns for large enterprise accounts.
Understanding of tenders, RFPs, bids, government contracting, or enterprise procurement workflows.
