Job Summary
Lubon Infra Chem Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Senior Civil / Structural Engineer with 6–7 years of experience for execution and supervision of specialised civil engineering works across Delhi NCR.
The candidate will be responsible for managing structural repair, waterproofing, injection grouting, concrete repair, industrial/specialty flooring, structural strengthening, retrofitting, anchoring and protective coating works at commercial, industrial, high-rise, infrastructure and institutional project sites.
This is a site-driven role. The candidate must be capable of independently handling execution, labour management, client coordination, measurements, billing support, quality control and technical problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities1. Site Execution & Project Management
Manage day-to-day execution of the following works:
· Basement waterproofing
· Raft waterproofing
· Retaining wall waterproofing
· Terrace waterproofing
· Tank waterproofing
· Injection grouting
· Concrete repair
· Structural strengthening / retrofitting
· Anchoring works
· Epoxy / PU / industrial flooring
· Protective coatings
· Crack repair and joint treatment
Plan manpower, material, tools, machinery and work schedules as per project requirements.
Ensure work is executed as per BOQ, drawings, approved methodology, technical specifications and client/consultant requirements.
Coordinate with supervisors, applicators, subcontractors, vendors, consultants and client representatives.
2. Structural Repair & Strengthening Works
Inspect and execute repair works for cracks, honeycombing, leakage, weak concrete, damaged RCC members, slab/beam/column defects and structural distress areas.
Handle structural strengthening and retrofitting activities such as:
· Micro-concrete works
· Jacketing works
· Polymer-modified mortar repairs
· Epoxy mortar repairs
· Carbon fibre / structural strengthening systems, if applicable
· Crack stitching
· Rebar treatment
· Structural bonding
· Load-bearing repair areas under technical guidance
3. Anchoring Works
Supervise and execute anchoring-related activities, including:
· Chemical anchoring
· Rebar anchoring
· Bolt anchoring
· Dowelling works
· Base plate fixing
· Pull-out test coordination
· Drilling, cleaning, resin/grout filling and fixing as per specification
Ensure anchoring is done with correct diameter, depth, spacing, alignment, curing time and manufacturer guidelines.
4. Flooring Works
Manage execution of specialty flooring systems, including:
· Epoxy flooring
· PU flooring
· Anti-skid flooring
· Industrial floor coatings
· Floor repair and surface preparation
· Screed works
· Self-levelling systems
· Protective floor coatings
Check surface preparation, moisture condition, primer application, coating thickness, mixing ratio, pot life, curing and final finish.
5. Waterproofing & Grouting Works
Supervise waterproofing and leakage-treatment works such as:
· PU injection grouting
· Epoxy injection grouting
· Cementitious waterproofing
· Crystalline waterproofing
· HDPE membrane systems
· PU coating systems
· TPE tape / joint treatment
· Pipe penetration sealing
· Construction joint and expansion joint treatment
Identify leakage sources and propose practical site-level solutions.
6. Quality Control
Ensure proper workmanship, material usage and application quality. The candidate must check:
· Surface preparation
· Material mixing ratio
· Application thickness
· Curing
· Grouting pressure
· Anchor depth and fixing
· Flooring finish
· Overlaps and joint treatment
· Leakage testing
· Final handover quality
Maintain quality checklists, inspection records, site photographs and completion reports.
7. Billing, Measurement & Documentation
Prepare and verify:
· Site measurements
· MB sheets
· RA bill supporting documents
· Daily progress reports
· Material consumption records
· Labour deployment records
· Client approvals
· Work completion reports
Coordinate with client billing teams, consultants and internal accounts team for timely billing and certification.
8. Client & Consultant Coordination
Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, PMCs, architects and contractors.
Explain technical solutions professionally and handle site queries.
Coordinate approvals for work fronts, materials, method statements, mock-ups, testing and completion certificates.
9. Safety & Site Discipline
Ensure PPE compliance, safe working practices, proper chemical storage, safe drilling/anchoring practices, height safety and confined-space precautions.
Maintain discipline among labour, supervisors and applicators.
