About the role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Integration / Data Engineer with ~5 years of experience to design, build, and support scalable integrations across enterprise HR platforms. The role focuses on leveraging AWS serverless technologies to enable seamless data exchange between systems such as Oracle HCM, ServiceNow, iCIMS, and other enterprise applications.
You will work closely with Solution Architects, HR product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver robust, secure, and high-performing integrations that drive operational efficiency and data reliability.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy scalable, serverless integration solutions using AWS services.

Build and manage integrations using API-based and file-based (batch/ETL) approaches.
-
Develop backend logic using Node.js or Python for data transformation, orchestration, and API services.
-
Collaborate with Solution Architects and business teams to translate integration requirements into technical solutions.
-
Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure (API Gateway, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudFormation).
-
Ensure security, compliance, and data privacy in all integrations.
-
Monitor integrations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and performance.
-
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Work across HR ecosystems to innovate, enhance employee and recruiter experience through reliable data flows.
Required Technical Skills:

Strong experience in AWS Serverless Architecture, including:

Expertise in API development and integration patterns (REST, JSON, webhooks)

Hands-on experience in js or Python (mandatory)

Error handling & retry mechanisms

Experience in file-based integrations (CSV, XML, JSON, SFTP)

Knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, REST, OAuth, JWT, TLS)

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Understanding of security and compliance principles in cloud-based integrations
Required Skills (Must Have) along with necessary Technical Skills:

5+ years of experience in Programming and API.

Participate in production support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis

Ensure documentation and adherence to integration standards and best practices
