JOB DESCRIPTION – OFFICE BOY & SECURITY

Position: Office Boy & Security
Department: Administration
Reporting To: HR / Admin Manager
Location:Coimbatore

Job Purpose

To provide general office support while ensuring the basic safety, security, cleanliness and smooth day-to-day functioning of the office premises.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and neatness of office areas, entrance, meeting rooms and common areas.
Serve tea, coffee, water and refreshments to employees and visitors.
Handle basic office errands, photocopying, printing, scanning and document movement.
Support HR/Admin in arranging meetings, events and other office requirements.
Maintain pantry items, stationery and other office supplies as instructed.
Receive and distribute courier, documents and other office materials.
Monitor and control the entry and exit of employees, visitors, vendors and vehicles.
Maintain visitor and vehicle entry/exit registers properly.
Verify visitors and inform the concerned employee before allowing entry.
Monitor the office premises and report any suspicious activity, damage or security concerns.
Ensure gates, doors and restricted areas are properly secured.
Monitor movement of company materials and equipment in and out of the premises.
Assist during emergency situations and immediately inform HR/Admin or management.
Maintain discipline at the entrance and ensure a professional environment.
Perform other office support, housekeeping and security-related duties assigned by management.

Qualification & Skills

Basic education preferred.
Previous experience in office support, housekeeping or security will be an advantage.
Physically fit, alert and responsible.
Good discipline, punctuality and personal hygiene.
Polite and respectful communication with employees and visitors.
Honest and trustworthy with company property and information.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Willingness to work in shifts or extended hours when required.

Key Performance Expectations

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
