GTE Document Writer

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Mode: Work From Home

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled GTE Document Writer to create, format, review, and maintain high-quality documents. The candidate should have excellent written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to convert information into clear, structured, professional documentation.

The role will involve researching information, preparing documents, editing existing content, maintaining formatting standards, and coordinating with relevant teams to ensure accuracy and timely delivery. These responsibilities are consistent with common technical/documentation writer roles, which emphasize clear documentation, research, editing, formatting, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

* Receive and review the client’s initial information, CV, questionnaire and supporting documents

* Understand the client’s background, career, achievements and overall case

* Identify relevant achievements and evidence that can be used for the application

* Conduct research to verify and strengthen the client’s professional profile

* Prepare the overall content structure and narrative for the case

* Draft and develop the required 15 evidence documents

* Ensure each document clearly presents the client’s contribution, impact and achievements

* Cross-check all documents for consistency of names, dates, figures, organisations and achievements

* Send drafts for internal/ Expert review and incorporate feedback

* Coordinate with the client to obtain missing information or clarification

* Revise and refine documents based on client and consultant feedback

* Conduct final proofreading, formatting and quality checks

* Organise and finalise the complete set of documents

Required Skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong English grammar and proofreading ability.

- Good research and information-gathering skills.

- Excellent attention to detail.

- Proficiency in MS Word, Google Docs, and MS Office.

- Good knowledge of document formatting and professional presentation.

- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

- Strong time-management and organizational skills.

- Ability to handle multiple documents/tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

- Basic knowledge of technical/documentation writing.

- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Canva, Notion, or similar tools.

- Basic understanding of Markdown or other documentation formats is a plus.

- Previous experience in content writing, documentation, research, or editing is an advantage.

Eligibility

- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Technical Writing, or any relevant field preferred.

- Freshers with strong writing and documentation skills can apply.

- Candidates with 0–2 years of relevant experience are welcome.
