Job DescriptionBack Office & Basic Accounts Executive

About the Role

eTrackingpro is looking for a Back Office & Basic Accounts Executive who can efficiently manage day-to-day back-office activities along with basic accounting and documentation work.

The ideal candidate should be organised, accurate, responsible, computer-savvy and willing to learn. The role requires regular coordination with internal teams, schools/customers, vendors and management.

Key Responsibilities1. Back Office & Operations

Maintain and update daily records, databases and operational data.
Perform regular data entry and ensure accuracy of information.
Check and verify trip-related, attendance and operational records.
Prepare daily/weekly reports as required by management.
Maintain proper documentation and digital filing of records.
Coordinate with the operations team for pending or incorrect information.
Follow up on routine operational tasks and ensure timely closure.
Assist in maintaining customer/school records and related documentation.
Handle emails, WhatsApp communication and basic office correspondence when required.
Support management in routine administrative and back-office activities.

2. Basic Accounting

Maintain basic day-to-day accounting records.
Prepare and maintain invoices and billing records.
Record receipts, payments and routine expenses.
Maintain customer outstanding/payment follow-up records.
Coordinate with customers for pending payments, wherever required.
Maintain vendor bills and supporting documents.
Assist in bank reconciliation and basic ledger checking.
Coordinate with the external accountant/CA for required documents and information.
Maintain proper records for GST and other accounting-related documentation.
Assist in preparing monthly financial summaries and reports.

3. Data Accuracy & Coordination

Cross-check data before submitting reports or updating records.
Identify discrepancies and bring them to the attention of the concerned team.
Maintain confidentiality of company, employee and customer information.
Ensure that assigned work is completed within the required timelines.
Take ownership of routine tasks instead of repeatedly waiting for instructions.

Skills Required

Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets / MS Office.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Familiarity with invoices, payments, receipts and outstanding reports.
Good data-entry and documentation skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to learn new software and internal systems quickly.
Ability to work independently after initial training.
Should be comfortable handling repetitive but important operational work.
Should be responsible, disciplined and able to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduate in B.Com, M.Com, BBA, or any relevant field.
Prior experience in back-office, administration, operations or basic accounts will be preferred.
Freshers with good Excel skills and willingness to learn may also be considered.

Experience

1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Salary

Salary will be based on experience, skills and suitability for the role.

Immediate joiners preferred.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
