Job Description – Sales Coordinator

About the Role

We are looking for an organized and proactive Sales Coordinator to support the sales team in managing customer requirements, sales orders, quotations, documentation, and coordination between customers and internal departments. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, coordination, follow-up, and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with the sales team and customers regarding enquiries, orders, quotations, and deliveries.
Prepare and share quotations, proforma invoices, sales orders, and other sales-related documents.
Follow up with customers regarding order confirmations, payments, dispatches, and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with Production, Dispatch, Logistics, Accounts, and Quality teams to ensure timely order execution.
Maintain and update customer databases, sales records, order status, and MIS reports.
Track pending orders and follow up with the concerned departments for timely closure.
Handle customer queries and coordinate with the sales team for resolution.
Support the sales team in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
Monitor stock availability and coordinate with the concerned departments based on customer requirements.
Maintain proper records of enquiries, quotations, orders, invoices, and customer communications.
Assist sales executives and managers with administrative and coordination activities.
Ensure timely communication of order status and delivery updates to customers.
Follow up on outstanding payments in coordination with the Accounts team.
Support the team in achieving sales and customer service objectives.

Required Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
Good customer handling and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Ability to prepare MIS and sales reports.
Ability to work with multiple departments and manage priorities.
Good attention to detail and documentation skills.
Proactive approach with good problem-solving ability.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or any relevant field.
Prior experience in sales coordination, sales support, customer service, or order management will be preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience in manufacturing, packaging, flexible films, plastics, polymers, industrial products, or B2B sales will be an added advantage.
