Role Summary
Inspiration is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Architect for its Bangalore Office to lead architectural design and project delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects. The individual will primarily contribute to residential, hospitality, infrastructure, and public realm projects while supporting other architectural, urban design, landscape, and planning assignments undertaken by the organisation.
The Architect will be responsible for leading design development, managing project coordination, overseeing technical documentation, and supporting construction-stage implementation. The role requires strong design capabilities combined with practical site experience and the ability to independently resolve design, technical, and execution-related challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
The successful candidate should be capable of translating conceptual ideas into buildable solutions, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and serving as a key point of contact for contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders during both design and execution phases.
1. Key Responsibilities
a. Design Leadership & Project Development
· Lead architectural design development across concept, schematic, detailed design, and construction documentation stages.
· Translate project briefs into innovative, context-sensitive, and technically sound design solutions.
· Independently evaluate design alternatives and resolve architectural, planning, and technical challenges.
· Prepare and review design presentations, reports, and client submissions.
· Guide junior architects and project teams in design development and technical delivery.
· Ensure design quality and consistency across all project deliverables.
b. 3D Modelling, Visualization & Presentation
· Oversee development of high-quality 3D models, visualizations, and presentation materials.
· Prepare and review photorealistic renderings, walkthroughs, and design communication outputs.
· Support preparation of project proposals, competitions, and client presentations.
· Ensure visual outputs effectively communicate design intent and meet organisational quality standards.
c. Technical Documentation & Coordination
· Lead preparation and review of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
· Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, infrastructure, and specialist consultants to ensure integrated design solutions.
· Review multidisciplinary drawings and ensure technical consistency across all project packages.
· Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, local regulations, and client requirements.
· Review design documentation for constructability and implementation feasibility.
d. Site Execution, Construction Support & Contractor Coordination
· Undertake regular site visits and monitor implementation of design intent during construction.
· Review construction progress and identify potential technical, design, or execution risks.
· Independently resolve architectural and construction-related issues arising during execution.
· Respond to contractor queries, Requests for Information (RFIs), and site instructions in a timely and professional manner.
· Review and approve shop drawings, material submissions, mock-ups, and samples.
· Coordinate with contractors, consultants, project management teams, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.
· Support quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
e. Infrastructure & Public Realm Project Support
· Contribute to the design and execution of infrastructure, streetscape, waterfront, public realm, and urban development projects.
· Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure integration of architectural and infrastructure components.
· Resolve site-level design challenges related to grading, utilities, public amenities, mobility infrastructure, landscape interfaces, and user experience.
· Support implementation of multidisciplinary projects involving civil, architectural, landscape, and urban design elements.
f. Project Management & Team Leadership
· Manage project deliverables, schedules, and coordination activities under the guidance of the Studio Lead.
· Lead internal project reviews and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
· Support resource planning and task allocation for project teams.
· Mentor junior architects, interns, and project staff.
· Participate in client meetings, workshops, design reviews, and stakeholder consultations.
· Ensure timely delivery of high-quality project outputs.
2. Required Skills & Experience
Technical Competencies
· Minimum 8 years of professional experience in architecture, design development, and project delivery.
· Demonstrated experience in residential and hospitality projects is essential.
· Significant site execution experience is mandatory.
· Experience working on infrastructure, public realm, urban development, institutional, or mixed-use projects will be highly preferred.
· Strong understanding of construction methodologies, detailing, materials, and project implementation processes.
· Ability to independently resolve design, technical, and site-related challenges.
· Proven experience responding to contractor queries and supporting construction-stage decision-making.
· Proficiency in:
o AutoCAD (mandatory)
o D5 Render (mandatory)
o SketchUp or equivalent 3D modelling software
o Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
· Working knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows will be a strong advantage.
Design, Coordination & Leadership Skills
· Strong architectural design, detailing, and problem-solving capabilities.

· Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultants and project stakeholders.
· Strong understanding of project delivery processes from concept through construction.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
