Description

We are looking for a skilled Project Automation Engineer to join our team at ICS. As a Mid to Senior Level professional, you will play a crucial role in automating industrial processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. Your expertise will be vital in developing and implementing automation solutions for various projects in the Engineering department.

As a Project Automation Engineer at ICS, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and deploying automation systems to streamline operations. Your contributions will directly impact the company's success by optimizing processes, reducing manual intervention, and ensuring seamless project execution. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in Industrial Automation, making it an exciting and rewarding position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
Design and develop automation solutions using PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
Program and configure control systems to meet project specifications.
Conduct testing and troubleshooting of automation systems to ensure functionality.
Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of automation equipment.
Optimize existing automation processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
Document project details, including design specifications and test results.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automation technology.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in industrial automation and control systems.
Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, etc.) and HMI development.
Strong knowledge of SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience with project management and execution.
