Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Project Commercial & Cost Control Manager to lead project commercial operations, costing, billing, and procurement coordination for multiple projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates and BOQs, monitoring project profitability, controlling costs, handling client billing, and negotiating with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
The ideal candidate should possess strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, negotiation capability, and hands-on experience in handling end-to-end project commercial management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Costing & BOQ Management
- Prepare detailed project costing, estimates, and BOQs based on drawings and specifications.
- Analyze project requirements, quantities, materials, labor, and execution costs.
- Review tender documents, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Ensure accuracy in quantity take-offs and rate analysis.
- Coordinate with design and execution teams for cost optimization.
2. Project Billing & Commercial Management
- Prepare client RA bills, final bills, and internal billing reports.
- Verify contractor and vendor bills as per work completion and agreements.
- Monitor billing schedules and ensure timely submission and collections.
- Maintain project-wise commercial records and documentation.
3. Project Cost Control & Budget Monitoring
- Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and profitability.
- Conduct periodic cost analysis and variance reporting.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
- Track material consumption, wastage, and project cash flow.
- Ensure projects are executed within approved budgets.
4. Vendor / Contractor Management & Negotiation
- Handle procurement coordination for materials and subcontracting works.
- Negotiate commercial terms, rates, delivery timelines, and payment conditions with vendors and contractors.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor and contractor relationships.
- Evaluate quotations and finalize comparative statements.
- Ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.
5. Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with project managers, site teams, accounts, and procurement departments.
- Prepare MIS reports related to costing, billing, procurement, and project status.
- Support management in commercial decision-making and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of project costing, BOQ preparation, and billing processes.
- Expertise in cost control and commercial project management.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/project management software.
- Ability to read drawings and technical specifications.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, Commerce, or related field.
- Additional certification in Project Management or Quantity Surveying will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
