About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable AI/ML Teaching Assistant (Mentor) to support learners in their journey through Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Generative AI programs. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical fundamentals with a passion for mentoring, guiding students, and helping them build practical, industry-relevant skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor and support students throughout their AI/ML learning journey.
- Conduct doubt-clearing sessions and provide technical guidance on assignments, projects, and assessments.
- Assist trainers in delivering live sessions, workshops, and hands-on learning activities.
- Review student submissions and provide constructive feedback to improve learning outcomes.
- Help learners understand core concepts in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science, and Generative AI.
- Support students in building portfolio projects and preparing for interviews.
- Monitor student progress and proactively engage learners who require additional support.
- Collaborate with instructors to improve course content, labs, assessments, and learning resources.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies, tools, frameworks, and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Good understanding of Machine Learning concepts, algorithms, and model evaluation techniques.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Understanding of data preprocessing, exploratory data analysis, and model development workflows.
- Basic knowledge of Deep Learning, NLP, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, or Generative AI concepts.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to learners with varying levels of expertise.
Preferred Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in AI/ML, Data Science, mentoring, teaching, tutoring, or related technical roles.
- Experience working on academic, freelance, internship, or industry AI/ML projects.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub, Jupyter Notebooks, cloud platforms, and modern AI development tools.
- Experience with Generative AI applications, LLMs, RAG systems, or AI-powered solutions is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Generative AI are advantageous.
Compensation
Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
