Job Description (JD) – Web Developer

Experience Required: 1–2 Years
Location: Dwarka Sector- 11
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Web Developer with 1–2 years of experience in WordPress and PHP development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building, customizing, and maintaining websites, along with a strong understanding of web technologies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
Create and modify WordPress themes and plugins as per business requirements.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable PHP code.
Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and web services.
Optimize website performance, speed, and responsiveness.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues.
Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and compatible across browsers.
Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other team members to implement website enhancements.
Perform regular website updates, backups, and security maintenance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in Web Development.
Strong knowledge of WordPress development (theme customization, plugin integration, and website management).
Good understanding of PHP and object-oriented programming concepts.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Experience working with MySQL databases.
Knowledge of WordPress page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or similar.
Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
Understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
Ability to troubleshoot and debug technical issues efficiently.

Preferred Skills

Experience with WooCommerce development and customization.
Basic knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
Familiarity with hosting environments, cPanel, and website deployment processes.
Knowledge of website security best practices.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
