Full job description

COMPANY PROFILE:

Infinity IPS Founded in 2003, Infinity IPS is a mortgage industry leader in providing end-to-end services and solutions. We specialize in mortgage due diligence, pre-fund and post-close quality control, mortgage servicing reviews and loan brokering services. We are vetted by all 5 major rating agencies and hold 3rd position in due diligence market share for RMBS securitization. Our clients are financial entities including investment banks, commercial banks, mortgage companies, government agencies and mortgage insurers.

POSITION: VP / AVP/ Manager /Assistant manage – US Mortgage Underwriting

Location: Pune
Work Mode: Work From Office
Shift: (Night Shift)
Working Days: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage large underwriting teams handling QM and Non-QM mortgage loans.
Oversee live underwriting operations and ensure adherence to client SLAs and quality benchmarks.
Provide strategic direction on credit risk assessment, loan eligibility, income analysis, asset review, and collateral evaluation.
Review complex mortgage scenarios and provide guidance on exceptions and escalations.
Ensure compliance with agency guidelines, investor requirements, lender overlays, and regulatory standards.
Drive operational excellence, productivity improvement, and process optimization initiatives.
Manage client relationships, participate in business reviews, and support business growth initiatives.
Monitor underwriting quality metrics and implement corrective action plans.
Lead hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management of underwriting teams.
Collaborate with Quality Control, Operations, Compliance, and Client Management teams.
Prepare and present operational MIS, performance dashboards, and business reports to senior leadership.

Requirements:

10+ years of US Mortgage Underwriting experience.
Minimum 3-5 years of team management experience.
Strong expertise in Live Underwriting, Credit Analysis, Income Calculation, DTI, LTV, Assets, and Collateral Review.
Extensive knowledge of QM and Non-QM underwriting guidelines.
Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Experience handling client interactions and operational governance.
Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
