About Us:

Thoucentric is a leading analytics consulting firm specializing in providing innovative, data-driven solutions to clients across various industries. Our Business Intelligence practice is dedicated to transforming complex data into actionable insights, empowering organizations to make data-driven decisions.

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Intelligence Consultant to join our dynamic BI team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in BI tools, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. If you are passionate about data, business intelligence, and solving real-world business problems, this internship offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and make an impact on client projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design, development, and deployment of interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight, Looker).
Work closely with senior BI consultants to gather requirements and transform raw data into meaningful visualizations and insights.
Support data preparation and cleansing tasks using SQL, Python, or other data manipulation tools.
Contribute to the optimization of BI solutions and ensure high performance and scalability of reports and dashboards.
Assist in the integration of various data sources, including data warehouses, data lakes, and external data sources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
Contribute to documentation and user training on BI solutions.
Participate in the enhancement and maintenance of the BI environment.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Knowledge of at least one standard BI tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight, Looker).
Demonstrated capability of creating engaging dashboards for real-world business problems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with SQL for querying and manipulating data.
Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, reporting tasks using Pandas or other libraries.
Knowledge of at least one data visualization library in Python
Ability to work with large datasets and perform data transformations.
Understanding of data warehouse and data lake architectures.
Good communication skills with the ability to present data insights in a clear and concise manner.
Confidence in handling data, performing analysis, and troubleshooting issues.
Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and techniques in the BI space, including leveraging LLMs for data insights.
Ability to collaborate with others, work with cross-functional teams and not in silos.
Good with UI/UX and visual design

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Front-end development experience, particularly with React, is a plus.
Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
Experience with version control tools such as Git.

Education & Experience:

Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
Prior internship or project experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field is a plus.
