Position: Data Analytics Intern (Apache Superset)

Location: Brookefield, Bangalore

Internship Duration: 3 / 6 Months

Working Hours: 9:00 AM â 6:00 PM

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Stipend: â¹15,000 per Month

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated, self-driven, and enthusiastic Data Analytics Intern who is passionate about data, analytics, reporting, and visualization.

In this role, you will work with PostgreSQL databases and Apache Superset, a modern open-source Business Intelligence (BI) and data visualization platform. You will learn how to transform raw data into meaningful business insights through reports, dashboards, and analytics.

The internship offers real-world exposure to database analysis, dashboard development, reporting automation, and client interaction. You will be given ownership of tasks and the opportunity to work on live projects used by clients.

Key Responsibilities

Phase 1 â Learning & Exploration

Learn and explore Apache Superset independently.
Install and configure Apache Superset on a local machine.
Connect Superset with PostgreSQL databases.
Understand datasets, charts, dashboards, filters, and SQL Lab.
Build sample dashboards and reports.
Compare Apache Superset with Power BI and Tableau.
Understand Business Intelligence and reporting concepts.

Phase 2 â Database Analysis & Dashboard Development

Connect to company PostgreSQL databases.
Explore database structures, schemas, tables, and relationships.
Understand fintech and business data.
Write SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
Generate business reports and insights.
Build interactive dashboards and visualizations.
Ensure data accuracy and reporting quality.
Optimize queries and dashboard performance.

Phase 3 â Client Reporting & Support

Understand client reporting requirements.
Interact with clients to gather reporting needs.
Translate business requirements into dashboards and reports.
Present dashboards and explain insights clearly.
Support clients with report-related queries.
Enhance dashboards based on client feedback.
Take ownership of end-to-end reporting activities.

Candidates with academic or personal projects related to SQL, Data Analytics, Reporting, or Visualization will be preferred.
