Job Title: Electrical Technician

Department: Engineering -Maintenance
Location: Plant Site
Industry: API Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Technician to manage installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment within an API pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The candidate will ensure uninterrupted and safe plant operations while complying with regulatory and EHS standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Installation & Maintenance

Install, test, and commission electrical equipment and systems.
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of:
Motors
Control panels
MCC (Motor Control Centres)
VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives)
Lighting systems
Utility equipment

2. Troubleshooting & Repair

Identify electrical faults and perform timely repairs.
Use testing instruments such as:
Multimeter
Clamp meter
Insulation tester (Megger)
Minimize downtime through effective fault diagnosis.

3. Electrical System Management

Maintain and inspect:
Circuit breakers
Control panels
Fuses
Cabling systems
Earthing systems
Ensure continuous and safe operation of plant electrical infrastructure.

4. Compliance & Safety

Adhere to electrical safety standards and plant EHS guidelines.
Identify and report potential electrical hazards.
Follow proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with GMP and pharmaceutical industry standards.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain maintenance logs and breakdown reports.
Record equipment history and preventive maintenance schedules.
Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams for smooth plant operations.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (Required)
