Full job description

instinctools is a software development company that provides custom software solutions for businesses of all sizes. Our team works closely with clients to understand their specific needs and provide personalized solutions that meet their business requirements.

Our team is looking for a Fullstack (Python/Go + React) Developer for one of our clients.

Our customer is one of the TOP-5 global management consulting firms considered to be among the most prestigious ones in the world. Hundreds of customers from Fortune-500, including the largest global financial institutions, the world’s top media companies, technology companies and federal government agencies rely on our client’s proven platform and services.

The project is an AI-powered assistant for private equity investors that transforms secure data-room documents into a searchable conversational knowledge base.

Location: India (office work)

Working time zone: From 11 am till 8 pm IST

Responsibilities and tasks:

System Design: Architect and develop robust, scalable microservices and APIs using Go, Python and JavaScript.

Frontend Excellence: Lead the development of responsive and performant user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
Database Management: Design, optimize, and manage data models across both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
API Development: Build and integrate secure RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs to ensure seamless communication between client and server.
Code Quality: Conduct rigorous code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and advocate for engineering best practices like CI/CD and automated testing.
Reliability: Monitor application health, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize for maximum speed and scalability.

Our expectations of the candidate:

Solid background in software engineering with hands-on experience in full-stack development.
Backend: Strong proficiency in Python (e.g., FastAPI, Django) or Go, with experience building high-concurrency systems.
Frontend: Advanced skills in React and JavaScript, including state management (Redux or Context API).React and JavaScript,
Databases: Practical experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, query optimization) and MongoDB.
Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms such as AWS.
Tools & Practices: Familiarity with modern development workflows, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
English: Upper-Intermediate

Soft skills:

Highly proactive – ability to figure out who to reach out to and how to get things done independently.
Stakeholder management – comfortable interacting with various stakeholders, from senior developers to product managers.
Curious mindset – challenges existing processes and looks for continuous improvement.
Strong communication – able to have project-related conversations with product managers and other team members.
Time management – organized and reliable.
