Full job description

The Interior Architect will be responsible for developing design concepts and delivering detailed working drawings up to Stage 4 of our design process. The role involves creativity, technical accuracy, client interaction, and coordination with internal and external teams for successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Stage-Wise Responsibilities (Stage 1–4)

Stage 1: Research

Conduct site visits and document existing conditions.

Understand client requirements and prepare site survey layouts.

Analyze space, services, and project constraints.

Stage 2: Programming

Develop concept layouts based on client requirements.

Prepare mood boards with references for approval.

Suggest initial material and color palette.

Stage 3: Design Demonstration

Finalize furniture layouts and general arrangement plans.

Prepare design presentations including:

Reflective Ceiling Layout

Flooring Layout

Material Finish Selection

Coordinate with visualizers for 3D rendering.

Present scope of work and design concepts to clients.

Stage 4: Detailed Drawings

4A – Design Detailing

Prepare working drawings for partitions, ceilings, flooring, and walls.

Develop furniture details and material specifications.

4B – Technical Detailing

Prepare sectional elevations, joinery, and custom furniture details.

Coordinate lighting, electrical, and signage layouts.

Ensure all details meet design intent and accuracy.

General Interior Architect Roles

Create functional, aesthetic, and cost-effective design solutions.

Conduct client meetings for design presentations and approvals.

Coordinate with consultants (MEP, HVAC, Lighting) for integrated design.

Prepare BOQ support and assist estimation team.

Ensure adherence to building codes, safety norms, and accessibility standards.

Source and finalize materials, finishes, and fixtures as per project needs.

Supervise site execution to maintain design integrity.

Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.

Maintain project documentation and revision history.

Stay updated on design trends, technology, and sustainability practices.

Required Skills & Software Proficiency

Design Tools: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, MS Office (Revit, 3ds Max/Lumion preferred)

Strong understanding of commercial interiors and joinery detailing.

Knowledge of MEP integration and site coordination.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Minimum 1–3 years in Interior Design

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture / Interior Design or equivalent

Creativity with practicality

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Client handling and team coordination skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month

Experience:

Sketchup: 2 years (Preferred)
Lumion: 2 years (Preferred)
Interior Design: 2 years (Preferred)
