Full job description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Android Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in modern Android development practices, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and user-friendly mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using modern development frameworks and best practices.
Build robust, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications for Android devices.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend developers, and QA teams to define and implement new features.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and architectural guidelines.
Optimize application performance, reliability, and responsiveness.
Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and cloud-based services.
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and production incidents.
Ensure application security, data protection, and compliance with industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience in Android application development.
Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Android Jetpack components.
Solid understanding of MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture patterns.
Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and modern UI development.
Experience with REST APIs, JSON parsing, and network libraries such as Retrofit.
Knowledge of dependency injection frameworks such as Dagger/Hilt.
Experience with local databases such as Room or SQLite.
Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
Understanding of mobile application lifecycle, performance tuning, and memory management.
Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Google Play Store.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
