Looking for a skilled professional with experience in Windchill support, CI/CD, automation, and application support to join a dynamic global team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on exposure to Windchill processes, REST APIs, workflows, lifecycle management, incident management, and release support, along with a passion for automation and continuous improvement.
Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role

Automation of operational activities: Design and implement automation solutions for recurring service requests, incident analysis, data extraction, reporting, and operational checks using Python, SQL, scripting, Windchill REST APIs, and approved AI-enabled automation approaches.

Windchill technical support and development: Support Windchill application operations, perform basic troubleshooting, and contribute to minor customizations or enhancements related to workflows, lifecycles, object types, team roles, groups, and access-related configurations.

L2 support, monitoring, and incident management: Provide L2application support for PLM/Windchill services, monitor application health, analyze incidents, perform initial root-cause analysis, coordinate with L3/application/infrastructure teams, and drive timely resolution of production issues in line with agreed service levels.

Service request management: Handle standard and recurring service requests such as access, role/group changes, workflow or lifecycle-related requests, data/report extraction, configuration checks, and user support queries while identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.

Data visualization and insights: Develop dashboards, reports, and visual insights on incidents, service requests, deployment quality, and operational trends to enable data driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Collaboration and documentation: Work with application, infrastructure, security, and business teams to document solutions, support knowledge sharing, and contribute to adoption of standardized automation and DevOps practices.

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and hands-on exposure to tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Shell scripting, PowerShell, or similar technologies.

Proficiency in writing SQL queries; exposure to PL/SQL procedures will be an added advantage.

Working knowledge of Git-based version control and standard branching, build, and release practices.

Basic to intermediate knowledge of Java; exposure to Java/J2EE-basedenterprise applications is preferred.

Preferred exposure to PTC Windchill development or support, including Windchill REST APIs, workflows, lifecycle management, object types, access control, team roles, and groups; deep customization ownership is not mandatory unless required by the project scope.

Hands-on experience in L2 support processes including incident triage, ticket analysis, SLA-based resolution, escalation management, service request fulfillment, and coordination with L3 or infrastructure teams.

Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis libraries such as Pandas or NumPy is desirable.

Willingness to understand and adopt the Infineon AI framework and make necessary adjustments based on business and service needs.

Ability to support end-user enablement, documentation, and train-the-trainer activities for automation and AI tool adoption.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to work in shifts as per service support needs and support production operations, incident handling, monitoring, and release activities as part of the service delivery model.
