Since 2000, BlackRock has delivered Investment Accounting and Middle Office services, supporting a diverse client base with approximately $2.7 trillion in assets across 250,000 positions. Our team processes over 300,000 trades and reconciles more than 1 million transactions annually across 1,700 portfolios. To enhance scalability, mitigate risk, and deliver exceptional client experiences, we established Outsourced Platform Services (OPS).
At the heart of our outsourced services are the functional teams that support our clients’ portfolios, assets& transactions daily.
BlackRock’s Outsourced Platform Services (OPS) provides global middle and back office support for BlackRock Solutions’ outsourcing business, including trade support, transaction servicing, collateral management, data governance, payments, corporate actions, reconciliations, alternative operations, and investment accounting. The team is focused on delivering scalable, controlled, and high-quality operational support for clients.
Global Client Alternative Services (GCAS), a specialized team within Tech & Ops under OPS, helps ensure the integrity of cash and position data for middle office clients and supports Aladdin clients investing in alternatives and private markets. The team partners globally on strategic initiatives and supports private and alternative asset workflows, including client engagement and daily IBOR reconciliation to help manage risk and client exposure.
This role demands expertise in reconciliation, exception management, and client service, complemented by strong problem-solving, data analysis, and process improvement skills. Additional responsibilities include maintaining documentation, supporting management initiatives, and driving operational efficiency.
The Associate will support private markets and alternatives operations across reconciliation, settlement, exception management, documentation review, and client service. The role requires strong operational judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to partner across internal teams, external counterparties, and clients to maintainaccurate IBOR data and manage operational risk.
Apply deep expertise in loan and private markets—including project finance, structured credit, real assets, and syndicated loans—to engage effectively with stakeholders, agents, borrowers, counterparties, and high-profile clients.
Facilitate settlement processes across a broad spectrum of instruments, including syndications, secondary trades, CLOs, restructurings, private markets, infrastructure debt, renewable power, real estate debt, and trade claims.
This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of private markets and operational innovation, contributing to BlackRock’s mission of delivering scalable, risk-aware solutions for global clients.
The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience in loan operations or similarexpertise in settlements, reconciliations, and documentation-driven transactions. The candidate should also have a strong understandingof private credit, real assets, and project finance.
Additional qualifications include:
Comprehensive understanding of banking and investment management, including experience in alternatives such as Private Credit, bank loans, credit strategies, registered funds, financial institutions, and a diverse range of investor types.
