Key Responsibilities & Duties1. Design & Development Support

Assist senior engineers in creating 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or Creo).
Incorporate Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles under supervision.
Help maintain and update the Bill of Materials (BOM) for new products.

2. Prototyping & Testing

Coordinate with the workshop or tool room to develop product prototypes and samples.
Conduct physical, mechanical, or functional testing of prototypes to validate design specifications.
Document test results, analyze failures, and suggest basic design modifications.

3. Documentation & Process Compliance

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including engineering change notes (ECN), product specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Learn and follow Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) guidelines.

4. Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with the Quality, Production, and Sourcing teams to ensure smooth transition from prototype to mass production.
Assist in coordinating with vendors for raw material samples and tooling components.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering (or a relevant science degree depending on the industry, like Food Tech for FMCG).
Technical Skills:
Basic knowledge of 3D CAD modeling software.
Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and materials.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data tracking and presentations.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
High curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies and processes.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
