1. Role Overview
We are looking for a creative, performance-driven, and responsible Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager to manage and grow Rust-Go's digital presence and online sales.
The person will be responsible for Meta Ads management, social media management, content planning, campaign optimization, performance analysis, brand growth, and e-commerce marketing.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with numbers, analyzing advertising performance, testing new strategies, coordinating creative content, and continuously finding ways to increase orders, revenue, ROAS, customer engagement, and brand awareness.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Meta Ads Management
- Plan, create, launch, monitor, and optimize Facebook & Instagram (Meta) advertising campaigns.
- Manage campaigns, ad sets, audiences, budgets, placements, and creatives.
- Monitor daily advertising performance and identify underperforming campaigns.
- Optimize campaigns based on:
- ROAS
- CPA / Cost per Order
- CPM
- CTR
- CPC
- Conversion Rate
- Add-to-Cart
- Checkout
- Purchases
- Revenue
- Conduct regular creative testing and A/B testing.
- Test different:
- Video creatives
- Images
- Hooks
- Ad copies
- Headlines
- Offers
- Audiences
- Campaign structures
- Identify winning creatives and scale them carefully.
- Control daily and monthly ad budgets according to business targets.
- Monitor ad fatigue and creative performance.
- Continuously develop new advertising angles and content ideas.
- Track and reduce unnecessary ad spending.
- Maintain proper campaign naming and organization.
- Prepare regular Meta Ads performance reports for management.
3. Social Media Management
Manage Rust-Go's social media presence across platforms such as:
- Instagram
- Facebook
- YouTube
- WhatsApp Business
- Other relevant platforms
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a monthly social media content calendar.
- Plan daily/weekly posts, reels, stories, and promotional content.
- Develop engaging content related to Rust-Go products.
- Maintain consistent brand identity across all platforms.
- Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and customer interactions.
- Identify trending content, sounds, formats, and marketing opportunities.
- Increase followers, engagement, reach, and brand awareness.
- Analyze social media insights and improve content based on performance.
- Maintain a balance between:
- Product-focused content
- Educational content
- Problem/solution content
- Customer testimonials
- Before & after content
- Promotional content
- Trending/reel content
- Brand-building content
4. Content Strategy & Creative Planning
- Develop new content ideas for Rust-Go products on a continuous basis.
- Identify customer problems and convert them into advertising/content concepts.
- Create strong hooks for Reels and advertisements.
- Coordinate with video editors, designers, photographers, influencers, and other team members.
- Provide clear creative briefs for videos and advertisements.
- Review creatives before publishing or running advertisements.
- Maintain a database of successful and unsuccessful creatives.
- Analyze why certain videos/ads perform better than others.
- Continuously test new creative concepts to avoid creative fatigue.

The Digital Marketing Manager will work closely with the e-commerce team to improve online sales.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitor daily website traffic and orders.

- Identify best-selling and low-performing products.
- Analyze customer journey:
- Ad → Website → Product Page → Add to Cart → Checkout → Purchase
- Identify drop-offs in the sales funnel.
- Suggest improvements to product pages and landing pages.
- Work with the team to improve checkout conversion.
- Monitor promotional campaigns and offers.
- Suggest strategies to increase average order value (AOV).
- Develop cross-selling and combo-product marketing strategies.
- Monitor sales performance by product, campaign, and channel.6. Analytics & Reporting
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly marketing reports.

7. Customer & Market Research
- Study customer behavior and buying patterns.
- Research competitors and their advertising strategies.
- Monitor competitor offers, creatives, content, and positioning.
- Identify new customer segments.
- Identify new marketing opportunities.
- Analyze customer feedback and reviews.
- Convert common customer questions/problems into content and advertising ideas.
- Monitor market trends and relevant social media trends.
8. Influencer & Creator Marketing
- Identify relevant influencers and content creators.
- Coordinate influencer collaborations.
- Negotiate collaboration requirements where necessary.
- Provide product information and content briefs.
- Track influencer performance.
- Analyze views, engagement, website traffic, leads, and sales generated.
- Identify high-performing creators for repeated collaborations.
- Develop UGC/creator content for use in Meta Ads.
9. Campaign Planning
Plan and execute campaigns for:
- New product launches
- Discount campaigns
- Festival campaigns
- Onam campaigns
- Seasonal promotions
- Combo offers
- Clearance campaigns
- Brand awareness campaigns
- Retargeting campaigns
- Customer acquisition campaigns
The manager should prepare a campaign plan before every major promotion, including:

10. Website & Conversion Optimization
Work with the e-commerce team to improve:
- Product pages
- Landing pages
- Product descriptions
- Product images/videos

Identify problems that may be affecting website sales and recommend improvements.
11. WhatsApp & Retargeting Marketing
Coordinate with the CRM/customer support team for:
- Abandoned checkout follow-up
- Customer remarketing
- Existing customer promotions
- Repeat purchase campaigns
- Product recommendations
- Promotional WhatsApp campaigns
- Customer feedback collection
Use customer insights from WhatsApp/CRM activities to improve advertising and content strategy.
12. Daily Responsibilities
The Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager is expected to:
