About the Role
Elixa Technologies is looking for a Service Engineer – Field Service to support the installation, operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of water treatment and automation programs at customer sites.
The role will involve regular travel to customer locations across Kerala, including commercial buildings, industrial facilities, hospitals, hotels, data centers, and other large HVAC installations.
The ideal candidate should be technically sound, comfortable working at customer sites, willing to travel extensively, and capable of independently handling routine service activities as well as troubleshooting and technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site visits and field service activities at customer locations across Kerala.
- Monitor and test chilled water and cooling water quality using appropriate testing equipment and procedures.
- Carry out routine water analysis and maintain accurate records of test results and site parameters.
- Monitor the performance of chilled water treatment and HVAC water treatment programs.
- Identify deviations in water quality, system performance, chemical dosing, and operating parameters.
- Troubleshoot issues related to water treatment, dosing systems, sensors, controllers, and automation systems.
- Support the installation, commissioning, calibration, and maintenance of water monitoring and automation equipment.
- Collect operating data from customer sites and prepare service reports, test reports, and technical recommendations.
- Analyze site data and recommend corrective actions to improve system efficiency and water quality.
- Ensure that chemical dosing and treatment programs are operating within recommended parameters.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers and coordinate with their engineering and maintenance teams.
- Work closely with the internal technical, sales, and operations teams to resolve customer issues.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate internal team and follow through until resolution.
- Maintain proper documentation of customer visits, test results, equipment performance, issues, and corrective actions.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers through responsive and reliable service.
- Follow all applicable site safety procedures and company safety protocols.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems, chilled water systems, cooling towers, and water treatment.
- Knowledge of water quality parameters such as pH, conductivity/TDS, hardness, alkalinity, chloride, corrosion indicators, etc. will be an advantage.
- Ability to use basic water testing instruments and field testing kits.
- Understanding of electrical/electronic instruments, sensors, controllers, pumps, and dosing systems is preferred.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to read and understand basic technical documents, equipment manuals, and system parameters.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to prepare clear service reports and maintain accurate records.
- Comfortable working independently in the field with minimum supervision.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Kerala.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Candidates with relevant field-service experience in water treatment, HVAC, cooling tower/chilled water systems, industrial utilities, instrumentation, or automation will be preferred.
Experience
0–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
Freshers with the right technical aptitude and willingness to work in a field-service role may also be considered.
Other Requirements
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence is preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Kerala and visit customer sites regularly.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in industrial, commercial, healthcare, hospitality, and other technical environments.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, email, and basic digital reporting tools is preferred.

This is primarily a field-based role and requires regular travel to customer locations across Kerala.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
