About the Role

Algomail is looking for a motivated and analytical Data Analyst Intern to join our team for a 3-month internship. This role is ideal for students and freshers who want to gain practical experience working with real-world business and marketing data.

As a Data Analyst Intern, you will work with datasets, identify patterns and trends, prepare reports, create visualizations, and help the team make better data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, organize, and analyze datasets.
Perform data cleaning and preprocessing using Excel, Python, or other relevant tools.
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and useful business insights.
Create reports and dashboards to present findings clearly.
Prepare charts, graphs, and visualizations for internal analysis.
Work with marketing and business data to evaluate campaign performance.
Analyze customer, lead, email marketing, and engagement data.
Perform basic statistical analysis where required.
Identify data quality issues and maintain accurate datasets.
Assist in preparing regular performance reports.
Communicate analytical findings and insights to the team.
Support the team with ad-hoc data analysis and research tasks.
Continuously explore ways to improve data collection, reporting, and analysis processes.

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Basic understanding of data analysis concepts.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
Basic knowledge of SQL is preferred.
Basic knowledge of Python and libraries such as Pandas and NumPy is a plus.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Matplotlib, or similar tools is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to work with large datasets.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Willingness to learn and work on real-world projects.
