Background
The Hans Foundation (THF), established in 2009, is a Public Charitable Trust that works towards creating an equitable society to enhance quality of life for all through the empowerment of marginalized and underprivileged communities in India. The Hans Foundation works for the Health and Wellbeing of remote and under-served groups, with an additional focus on children, persons with disabilities and women. THF also works for holistic Education and Livelihood development of our communities. Our Two-Fold Strategy involves identifying and working within Aspirational Districts and high poverty index in the North, North-East and East regions within specific states, as well as catering to lower-income and migratory populations in cities, through urban programs. Over its 15 years of existence, THF has reached more than 59 million beneficiaries through its programs. THF works with communities through direct implementation of projects on the ground in addition to providing local management and monitoring support to not-for-profit organisations in India funded through THF USA and RIST.
About Project
THF - Skiil Centre has been conceptualized with a focus on Empowering and training underprivileged youth in various technical skills and to make them ready for jobs/self-employment.
The initiative aim to its ambitious program of 20 Swasthya cities for providing doorsteps services to urban based EWS population in metros and mini metros in the thematic areas of Health, Education, Skilling and Disability for holistic development and creating equitable society.
Skilling of urban youth is extremely essential element of developing healthy and prosperous society. THF as a part of its endeavour in contributing towards nation building has taken up progressive initiative in training youth in multi skilling covering Pan India with focus on 20 Swasthya Cities.

Job Brief
The Soft Skill will be responsible for delivering high-quality classroom and practical training to youth enrolled under The Hans Foundation Livelihood Skills Training Programme. The role focuses on building participants’ Soft skills, IT skills, English communication, and employability competencies to make them job-ready.
The trainer will also guide candidates in identifying suitable career pathways and support them in securing employment or pursuing further education opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging training sessions on Soft skills, English communication, and IT skills (Basic Computer) such as teamwork, problem-solving, and workplace readiness.
- Apply diverse training methodologies (interactive sessions, role-plays, case studies, and practical exercises) to enhance learning outcomes.
- Develop and update lesson plans, curriculum, and training materials aligned with industry requirements.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and participatory classroom environment.
- Provide individual mentoring, feedback, and counselling to support holistic development.
- Track attendance, monitor learner progress, and minimize dropouts through regular follow-ups and counselling.
- Conduct assessments, quizzes, and evaluations to measure learning outcomes.
- Ensure timely completion of curriculum and maintain daily lesson plans and reports.
- Maintain accurate documentation of training activities, performance data, and program outcomes.
- Stay updated with industry trends, digital tools, and employability practices.
- Address trainee queries related to training and placement effectively.
- Assist in mobilization activities including baseline assessments and candidate screening.
- Evaluate candidate readiness post-mobilization.
- Provide counselling and guidance to newly mobilized candidates.
- Conduct job readiness sessions including resume writing, interview preparation, and workplace etiquette.
- Facilitate mock interviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Coordinate with placement teams to ensure candidate participation in interviews.
- Track placement progress and support candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Conduct follow-ups with rejected candidates and guide them on improvement areas.
- Support post-placement retention through continuous engagement and counselling.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as Soft Skills Trainer / Employability Skills Trainer.
- Willingness to travel across Delhi NCR as per project requirements.
- Strong understanding of labor market trends and employer expectations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal & written).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and LMS platforms.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage training schedules and reporting efficiently.
- Experience in developing training content and instructional materials.
- Ability to work with diverse learners and foster an inclusive environment.
