We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, building, and maintaining the CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure that power our software products. You will work in a fast-paced Agile environment, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, high-quality software solutions, while mentoring junior engineers and helping shape our DevOps practices.
What a day in the life looks like:
- Develop a thorough understanding of the product architecture within 3 months
- Identify gaps and propose enhancements in the DevOps process and/or architecture
- Deliver in line with project committed metrics on Velocity, Quality, and Accuracy of Estimates
- Mentor and guide more junior team members within 6 months
- Provide constructive technical feedback on pull requests and champion sound team processes
- Achieve comfort with all aspects of DevOps at Infios within 6 to 12 months
- Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement
- Become an active, contributing member of the DevOps Guild
- Share ideas for process, workflow, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Understand and follow all team processes while actively suggesting improvements
- Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders across the organization
- Communicate clearly to understand requirements and align solutions with organizational goals
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, code demos, and concise written communications
What you bring to the team:
- At least 4 years of experience in DevOps, with a strong understanding of microservices architectures and principles
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in an Agile development environment
- Comprehensive experience with containerization and container orchestration technologies
- Experience beyond an individual-contributor role, including mentoring junior team members and independently designing and developing features
- Demonstrated ability to articulate a major technical problem and its corresponding solution
- Experience in a Microservice environment with services created from scratch and deployed to the cloud
- Experience deploying Kubernetes clusters using Helm charts to the cloud
- Experience building scalable, multi-tenant cloud environments from scratch
