About the Role
Join the Connected Car Platform team at MBRDI and contribute to building cloud-based services that power Connected Car features for Mercedes-Benz customers worldwide. As a fresher or junior engineer, you’ll work in a collaborative, global environment and gain hands-on experience developing scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web frontends, cloud-based applications and microservices.

Contribute to different stages of the software development lifecycle with guidance from senior engineers.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.

Support building scalable solutions using modern cloud and DevOps tools.

Collaborate with team members, architects, and product teams across regions.

Participate in code reviews and learn about automation, testing, and CI/CD practices.

Help troubleshoot issues and support production systems under guidance.

Continuously learn and contribute to improving engineering practices and tools.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related fields.

0–2 years of experience (including internships, academic projects, or training programs).

Basic programming knowledge in Java, Kotlin, GoLang, JS or similar languages.

Understanding of fundamental concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.

Familiarity with REST APIs and basic software development principles.

Awareness of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.
Technical Skills
Cloud & Platform

Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP

Basic understanding of databases like PostgreSQL or SQL-based systems
-
Awareness of messaging/event systems (e.g., Kafka, Event Hub) is a plus
Container & DevOps

Basic knowledge of Docker and containerization concepts

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)

Exposure to version control tools (Git)

Awareness of monitoring/logging concepts
Development

Hands-on experience through projects in Java/Kotlin/GoLang (or similar languages)

Basic understanding of microservices architecture

Familiarity with event-driven or distributed system concepts (academic level is fine)
