Job Title: Sr. QA Automation Engineer (Mobile App Testing)

Experience: 5+ Years
Location: Ahmedabad
Work Mode: Work From Home (WFH)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Sr. QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in mobile application testing. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Appium and a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks.

As a senior member of the QA team, you will guide best practices, mentor junior testers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automation testing frameworks for Android and iOS mobile applications.
Create, execute, and manage automation test scripts using Appium and related tools.
Work closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams to review requirements and define test strategies.
Conduct functional, regression, smoke, performance, and compatibility testing for mobile apps.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines).
Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar.
Review, optimize, and improve the overall QA process and automation coverage.
Mentor and guide junior QA engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases and maintain well-structured documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

5 years of professional experience in QA Automation, with a strong focus on mobile app testing.
Hands-on experience with Appium (mandatory).
Expertise with tools such as UI Automator, XCUITest, Espresso, or similar technologies.
Strong programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience building automation frameworks (POM, Hybrid, BDD, etc.).
Solid understanding of STLC, mobile testing practices, and device-specific behaviors.
Experience with version control tools like Git.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote work environment.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
