Job Description and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a talented and proactive IT Operations Specialist to manage, optimize, and secure our corporate IT environment. Our workplace is cloud-first, fast-paced, and predominantly macOS-based (with a subset of Windows workstations).
In this role, you will be much more than a traditional help desk technician. You will act as the backbone of our daily operations, owning the lifecycle of our hardware, managing our cutting-edge SaaS stack, and ensuring our global team has a seamless, secure digital experience. Endpoint Management & MDM: Own the deployment, configuration, and security of all corporate endpoints. Utilize our MDM platform to enforce security policies, manage patch compliance, and drive zero-touch deployment for both Mac and Windows devices.
Identity & Access Management (IAM): Act as a primary administrator for Okta, handling user onboarding/offboarding, application provisioning, group rules, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
SaaS Collaboration Administration: Manage, configure, and troubleshoot our core communication and productivity suites, including Google Workspace, Slack, and the Atlassian Suite (Jira Service Management & Confluence).
Advanced Cross-Platform Support: Provide tier 2/3 technical support for a mostly macOS environment, alongside a smaller fleet of Windows 11 systems.
IT Infrastructure & Security: Partner with Security teams to ensure endpoints adhere to compliance frameworks. Troubleshoot local office network connectivity, VPNs, and smart conference room hardware.
Asset Lifecycle Management: Oversee hardware procurement, inventory tracking, refresh cycles, and e-waste disposal.
Job Requirements:
Experience: 2+ years of experience in IT support, IT engineering, or IT operations within a modern corporate environment.
Operating Systems: Deep expert-level knowledge of macOS troubleshooting and configuration, with strong foundational knowledge of Windows 10/11 administration.
The Tech Stack: Proven, hands-on administration experience with Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and Jira/Confluence.
MDM Mastery: Solid experience utilizing modern MDM tools to manage apple profiles, configuration payloads, and application packaging.
Customer-First Mindset: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You can translate complex technical issues into empathetic, easy-to-understand solutions for internal employees.
Proactive Problem Solver: A self-starter who looks to fix the root cause of a problem and automate repetitive tasks rather than just closing tickets.
Good to have:
Experience writing basic scripts (Bash, Zsh, or PowerShell) or utilizing API workflows to automate routine IT tasks.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Apple Certified Support Professional, Okta Certified Professional, Google Workspace Administrator).
Experience working in a high-growth startup or hybrid-work environment.
