Job Description for Outbound & Social Media Marketing Internship

Position Summary:We're looking for someone who genuinely wants to hit the ground running - not shadow someone, not fill a spreadsheet, but actively contribute to how we grow. In this role, you'll speak with real prospects, run outbound campaigns, and create content that has a clear job: start conversations, earn attention, and bring the right people closer to us. You'll be working with AI as an active part of your workflow - using it to research, draft, personalise, and move faster without losing quality. You'll get a firsthand sense of how pipelines get built, what makes people respond, and how marketing and outreach come together to move a business forward. You'll have full ownership of what you work on - and a team that's always up for a brainstorm or to help you think through a jam. If you get excited about crafting a cold email that actually gets a reply, or figuring out why a LinkedIn post pulled in 10x the usual reach, this role is for you.

What you'll be doing:

Research and build targeted prospect lists across industries, personas, and segments relevant to our ideal customer profile
Write, send, iterate, and analyse outbound sequences - cold emails and LinkedIn DMs - tracking open rates, reply rates, and meetings booked
Own social media execution across LinkedIn and Instagram - posts, carousels, short-form content that attract and warm up the right audience. We'll also experiment with faceless AI-first video accounts
Turn customer wins, product updates, free tools, and internal inputs into outreach hooks, social proof assets, and content - things that give prospects a genuine reason to engage
Use AI tools actively - for prospecting, personalising outreach, drafting copy, and improving messaging

What we're looking for:

Strong written communication - clarity, intent, and a sense of who you're writing for
A genuine curiosity about people - what drives them, what frustrates them, what they actually want
A bias toward figuring things out on your own first - you'll ask Google or AI before you ask a person
Comfort with AI tools, or a strong eagerness to get there fast
Organised and consistent - you can manage a list, follow up, and track what's working

Who will do well in this role:

You find human behaviour genuinely interesting - and that curiosity shows up in how you write and who you write to
You pay attention to the marketing you experience as a user - what made you open, stop, or respond - and you think about why
You were active in college clubs, fests, or student initiatives, and you bring that same energy to your work
You hit a wall and find a way around it before asking someone to move it
