Android Developer

Location: Sector 90, Noida
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: 2+ Years

Job Summary

Appsquadz is looking for a skilled Android Developer with 2+ years of experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications using modern development practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications.
Write clean, scalable, and reusable code.
Work with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams.
Integrate REST APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries.
Debug issues and optimize application performance.
Ensure application compatibility across Android devices and OS versions.
Participate in code reviews and follow coding best practices.
Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store when required.

Required Skills

2+ years of experience in Android development.
Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java.
Hands-on experience with Android SDK and Android Studio.
Understanding of Android App Lifecycle.
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations.
Knowledge of MVVM/MVP architecture.
Experience with Git/GitHub.
Knowledge of SQLite/Room and local storage.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Jetpack Components such as ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, and Room.
Firebase services including Authentication, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, and Push Notifications.
Basic understanding of CI/CD.
Experience with Google Maps, Payment Gateways, or Location Services.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
