Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate civil works including excavation, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, plastering, flooring, and finishing activities.
Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications; ensure work is executed as per approved designs.
Plan daily/weekly work schedules and allocate manpower, tools, and materials accordingly.
Supervise labor gangs, subcontractors, and skilled/unskilled workers; monitor productivity and quality of work.
Ensure availability of materials at the site and coordinate with the store/procurement team for timely supply.
Conduct quality checks at each stage of construction and report deviations to the Site Engineer/Project Manager.
Maintain daily progress reports, labor attendance, and material consumption records.
Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, PPE usage, and site safety protocols (HSE).
Coordinate with surveyors for setting out levels, alignments, and grades.
Identify potential delays or issues and proactively report/resolve them.
Liaise with other trade foremen (electrical, plumbing, MEP) to ensure coordinated execution.
Train and guide junior workers/helpers on proper work methods.
Ensure housekeeping and cleanliness of the work area.
