Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and proactive EDP / ERP & IT Incharge to join our upcoming manufacturing facility in Surat. The role will be responsible for ERP support, MIS reporting, data management, IT infrastructure, and digital process implementation across production, stores, purchase, sales, dispatch, quality, accounts, and administration functions. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and coordinating with management, plant teams, data entry operators, software vendors, and IT service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support ERP implementation, user training, and day-to-day ERP operations across all departments.
- Coordinate with ERP/software vendors for setup, testing, troubleshooting, report development, and user support.
- Maintain master data including item masters, customer/vendor records, machine details, process data, and user access controls.
- Supervise and train Data Entry Operators (DEOs) to ensure accurate and timely data entry.
- Monitor production, inventory, purchase, dispatch, and quality data for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly MIS reports and management dashboards.
- Generate reports related to production, stock, efficiency, wastage, dispatch, machine utilization, pending orders, and operational KPIs.
- Manage IT infrastructure including computers, printers, scanners, networking, internet connectivity, CCTV systems, barcode solutions, and peripheral devices.
- Coordinate with hardware, networking, CCTV, and software vendors for maintenance and issue resolution.
- Maintain data backups, user permissions, IT asset records, and basic system security.
- Drive digitization initiatives and help reduce manual paperwork through structured system-based workflows.
Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of experience in EDP, ERP Support, MIS, IT Administration, or Manufacturing Software Systems.
- Experience in a manufacturing company is preferred.
- Exposure to FIBC, woven sacks, packaging, technical textiles, plastics, extrusion, weaving, printing, or stitching industries will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, MIS reporting, computer hardware, networking, printers, and scanners.
- Experience with ERP implementation, barcode systems, inventory tracking, production entry, or dispatch management is preferred.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Excel Dashboards, or reporting tools will be an added advantage.
- Ability to train users, coordinate with vendors, and support shop-floor teams effectively.
