About the Role
We are hiring for a fast-growing accounting outsourcing firm focused on building innovative Tax Technology solutions that transform accounting, taxation, compliance, reporting, and advisory services. We are seeking a dynamic Tax Technology Developer (Manager) who combines strong full-stack development expertise with product development capabilities and a strategic business mindset.

The ideal candidate will have experience developing scalable software solutions while contributing to product strategy, market positioning, and client engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Stack Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Tax Technology web applications and platforms.
- Build robust backend services, APIs, and databases to support tax computation, compliance, and reporting workflows.
- Develop intuitive front-end interfaces that simplify complex tax and accounting processes.
- Ensure application security, scalability, performance optimization, and code quality.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and code reviews to maintain high development standards.
- Collaborate with tax and accounting professionals to convert regulatory requirements into technical solutions.
Product Development & Innovation
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation and requirement gathering to development, testing, and deployment.
- Define product roadmaps, feature prioritization, and release plans aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders, clients, and internal teams to continuously improve product offerings.
- Prepare product documentation, technical specifications, user stories, and workflow designs.
- Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives within tax and accounting processes.
Product Commercialization & Go-To-Market Support
- Contribute to go-to-market strategies for Tax Technology products and solutions.
- Develop product positioning, value propositions, and messaging for different customer segments.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create product presentations, case studies, landing pages, and demonstration materials.
- Support pre-sales activities and client presentations by effectively communicating technical capabilities.
- Analyze product adoption, user engagement, and performance metrics to improve product success.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor junior developers and technical team members.
- Coordinate with technology, operations, tax, and business development teams.
- Participate in client meetings, requirement discussions, solution demonstrations, and discovery sessions.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative and innovation-driven work environment.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- 3–7 years of overall professional experience with a minimum of 2 years in Full-Stack Development
- Proficiency in technologies such as Node.js, React/Angular, Python, SQL/NoSQL Databases.
- Demonstrated experience in product development, including conceptualizing, building, and launching at least one software product or internal tool.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles, including product positioning, customer segmentation, and Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies.
- Familiarity with Tax, Accounting, or FinTech domains such as Direct Tax, GST, TDS, Financial Reporting, and Compliance processes will be a strong advantage.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and clients.
Preferred
- Exposure to SaaS product development and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Prior experience in an Accounting Firm, CA Firm, ERP Company, FinTech, or Tax Technology organization.
- MBA or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Strategy, or Business Management will be an added advantage (not mandatory).
