We are seeking a Senior Sales Executive who can take ownership of product promotion and market development for our portfolio of patent Ayurvedic, FMCG and OTC products.

The role requires a combination of product understanding, field sales capability, market intelligence and relationship management. The selected candidate will work closely with distributors, retailers, stockists and relevant healthcare channels to increase product reach, strengthen market presence and deliver business targets within the assigned territory.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct & Market Development

Develop a strong understanding of assigned Ayurvedic, OTC and FMCG products, including their key features, benefits, positioning and usage.
Introduce and promote products effectively across the assigned territory.
Identify untapped markets and opportunities for expanding product distribution.
Track local market trends, customer preferences and competitor activities.
Gather feedback from the market and share actionable inputs with the management team.

Sales & Business Development

Drive territory sales in line with monthly and quarterly business objectives.
Develop new distributor, stockist and retail relationships.
Strengthen existing channel relationships and improve product movement.
Generate orders and ensure regular follow-up with channel partners.
Work towards improving product availability, visibility and market penetration.
Support the introduction of new products in the assigned territory.

Customer & Channel Management

Maintain regular contact with distributors, retailers, stockists and other business partners.
Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate product information.
Conduct product briefings and presentations whenever required.
Resolve routine market and product-related queries through proper coordination with the concerned teams.
Build professional, long-term relationships with key accounts and channel partners.

Field Activities & Reporting

Plan and execute regular territory visits.
Maintain an effective route and market-coverage plan.
Participate in dealer/retailer meetings, product campaigns and promotional activities.
Submit timely reports covering sales, market visits, new business opportunities and competitor developments.
Monitor product availability and identify gaps requiring immediate attention.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be a confident field professional with a strong interest in Ayurvedic, OTC, FMCG, pharmaceutical or healthcare products.

Mandatory Criteria

Qualification: BAMS / B.Pharm / B.Pharmacy / B.Sc. or relevant Science Graduate.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
Age: Maximum 35 years.
Willingness to undertake regular field visits.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer-handling and negotiation abilities.
Result-oriented approach with the ability to work against sales targets.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates who have previously worked with:

Patent Ayurvedic products
OTC products
FMCG products
Pharmaceutical products
Consumer healthcare brands
Ayurvedic or wellness products

Candidates who already understand distributor/stockist networks and local retail markets will have an added advantage.
