Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the company’s day-to-day operations, financial coordination, team performance, and overall business efficiency.

The ideal candidate should have strong management-level experience in Accounts/Finance, along with the ability to understand business financials, analyze operational performance, and work closely with the CEO and other C-level management in strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the company's day-to-day business operations.

Work closely with the CEO/Managing Director to implement business strategies and organizational goals.

Monitor overall financial performance, budgets, expenses, cash flow, and profitability.

Review and analyze financial and operational reports and present key insights to senior management.

Lead and coordinate with department heads to ensure business targets and operational goals are achieved.

Identify operational inefficiencies and implement effective processes and improvements.

Participate in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cost-control initiatives.

Work closely with the Accounts/Finance team and ensure proper financial controls and reporting.

Support senior management in business planning, decision-making, and risk management.

Ensure effective coordination between different departments.

Develop and implement policies, procedures, and operational standards.

Monitor business performance against targets and take corrective action where required.

Handle sensitive business, financial, and management-level information with complete confidentiality.

Represent the company in important internal and external business discussions when required.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

8–12+ years of professional experience, with significant experience in a management or leadership position.

Strong management-level experience in Accounts/Finance is highly preferred.

Proven experience in business operations and financial management.

Strong understanding of P&L, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, MIS, financial reporting, and cost management.

Experience working directly with CEO, Managing Director, COO, CFO, or other C-level executives.

Strong leadership and people-management skills.

Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.

Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.

Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

The ideal candidate is someone who can understand the business from both an operational and financial perspective, take ownership of organizational performance, and effectively communicate with CEO/MD and other C-level management.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
