Full job description

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, handle invoices and payments, and assist with financial reporting and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, and other business transactions.
Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers, and other financial documents.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
Monitor outstanding payments and receivables and follow up when required.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, and other relevant parties when required.
Monitor petty cash and maintain proper records.
Verify expenses, bills, and supporting documents before processing payments.
Ensure accounting entries are accurate and completed on time.
Assist management with financial information and basic accounting analysis.
Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
Additional certification in accounting or taxation will be an advantage.
Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting practices.
Previous experience in accounting is preferred, but suitable freshers may also be considered.

Attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
Honest, responsible, and trustworthy approach to handling financial records.

Candidates should be from nearby areas and able to commute to the workplace daily, as accommodation is not provided. Preference will be given to candidates who live within a reasonable distance from the workplace

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
