Specialist Assistant Manager, Account and Engagement Finance- Hyderabad

Engagement Financial Advisors provide engagement management knowledge for the entire project management team(s) by assisting with initiating and controlling organization and logistical aspects of projects. Their greatest value, however, is in the understanding and application of engagement business and financial processes, both to individual projects and to client accounts.
Work you will do:
As an Assistant Manager/Team Lead in USI supporting GFS EFA team, you will focus on following areas:
Perform various financial analyses such as
reconciliation
s and variance analysis.
Oversee the activities of junior EFA staff, including supervision, task management and deliverable quality reviews
Lead and oversee budget preparation activities and forecasts. Project and track financial metrics such as revenue, expense, etc.
Interact frequently with senior level internal and external clients and firm leadership to present various analyses, discuss
recommendation
s, and provide engagement financial advice.
Track expenditures and manage client bill and receivable collection functions.
Perform and manage engagement management office (PMO) functional tasks and perform day-to-day contract management activities.
Conduct quality reviews of and provide feedback on the technical work products of junior resources.
Develop and implement standards and processes for engagement management, quality management, and risk management.
Support the growth and career development of junior resources by serving as an informal mentor and a formal coach to their assigned teams, providing them with career and professional development guidance.
Participate in formal performance assessment activities for assigned staff.
Contribute to the growth and development of the overall EFA team through active involvement in one or more practice initiatives; and
Prepare and facilitate firm training sessions on a variety of topics and methodologies

USI supporting Global Finance Services team:
USI supporting GFS will provide world-class Finance services to Deloitte's member firms using the latest generation SAP technology supported by a team of highly-skilled and engaged
professionals.
Through a common Finance infrastructure and system platform, the team will enable member firms to share leading practices across the network. This team began serving the founding member firms in 2018, and additional member firms will enter the program in 2020.

Qualifications and experience required:
Bachelor's degree in business from a four-year accredited university
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a financial analysis role
Minimum of 5 years of experience with the entire Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced level PowerPoint and advance to expert Excel Skills (Excel certification will be required post-hire)
All candidates must be willing and able to travel as needed; dependent on client staffing, travel is typically limited.
Experience producing and delivering appropriate communications to C-level Executives
Experience summarizing results and producing management reports
Demonstrated attention to detail and adherence to project deadlines
Proven ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proven "outside the box"-thinker who identifies problems and develops creative solutions
Preferred:
Experience supervising and/or managing resources
Experience in working and collaborating with international teams
Experience with MS Access and MS Project applications
Experience working with a variety of contracting types (e.g., time and materials, fixed price) and billing scenarios
Experience developing project pricing models and performing scenario analysis
Experience in a professional services firm

Work timings: 11 AM to 8 PM IST
