About the Role

Saburi Ply is looking for a Talent Acquisition Executive to join our HR team at our Chinar Park, Kolkata Head Office.

The ideal candidate should have 2–4 years of hands-on recruitment experience, particularly in Sales and other Non-IT hiring. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews and ensuring timely closure of vacancies across multiple functions and locations.

This role is best suited for someone who is target-oriented, proactive, good at candidate communication and comfortable handling volume hiring.

Key Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end recruitment for Sales and Non-IT positions.
Manage hiring for roles such as:
Sales Executives
Sr. Sales Executives
Area Sales Managers
Business Development Executives/Managers
Marketing & Support Functions
HR, Operations and other Non-IT positions
Source candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, job portals, social media and other recruitment channels.
Screen candidates based on job requirements, experience, skills and salary expectations.
Conduct initial telephonic/video screening and shortlist suitable candidates.
Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Maintain regular follow-ups with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Negotiate salary and manage candidate expectations within approved salary budgets.
Ensure timely closure of assigned vacancies and joining formalities.
Maintain accurate recruitment trackers and daily/weekly MIS reports.
Build and maintain a strong candidate database for recurring hiring requirements.
Coordinate with business teams and hiring managers to understand manpower requirements.
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Follow up with selected candidates until their date of joining and minimise offer dropouts.

Mandatory Requirements

2–4 years of recruitment experience.
Mandatory hands-on experience in Sales hiring and Non-IT recruitment.
Experience hiring for field sales, business development or building-materials/FMCG/consumer-facing sales roles will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of sourcing through Naukri, LinkedIn and other recruitment platforms.
Strong candidate screening and interviewing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple positions and recruitment targets simultaneously.
Good follow-up and coordination skills.
Comfortable working with recruitment MIS, trackers and basic Excel/Google Sheets.
Should be proactive, energetic and target-oriented.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates from Recruitment Consultancy, Staffing, Sales Recruitment or Corporate Talent Acquisition backgrounds are preferred.

Experience in Building Materials, Plywood, FMCG, Consumer Durables, Retail, Telecom or other sales-driven industries will be an added advantage.
