Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Team Leader with a strong background in logistics, courier aggregation, e-commerce shipping, and B2B sales. The candidate will be responsible for leading the sales team, driving revenue, acquiring new customers, managing existing accounts, and achieving monthly and quarterly business targets.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Executives/Business Development Executives.
Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and ensure achievement of assigned goals.
Drive B2B customer acquisition across e-commerce, D2C, SMEs, retailers, and online sellers.
Generate leads through cold calling, references, digital channels, field visits, and other business development activities.
Understand customer shipping requirements and recommend suitable courier/logistics solutions.
Promote courier aggregation and multi-carrier shipping solutions based on customer requirements.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure high customer retention.
Handle negotiations, pricing discussions, proposals, and commercial closures.
Monitor the complete sales funnel from lead generation to conversion and onboarding.
Track team performance through daily/weekly sales reports, conversion ratios, revenue, and productivity metrics.
Conduct regular team meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
Identify gaps in team performance and implement corrective action plans.
Coordinate with Operations, Customer Support, Finance, and other teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and service delivery.
Resolve customer escalations related to pricing, pickup, delivery, COD, RTO, shipment issues, and service quality in coordination with relevant teams.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing, and new business opportunities.
Ensure accurate CRM updates and timely reporting of sales activities.
Achieve revenue, customer acquisition, conversion, and retention targets.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of the logistics and courier aggregation industry.
Good understanding of courier services, shipping solutions, COD, RTO, NDR, pickup and delivery processes.
Strong B2B sales and business development skills.
Proven experience in team handling and target achievement.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong customer relationship management skills.
Ability to analyze sales data and prepare performance reports.
Hands-on experience with CRM and sales tracking tools.
Strong leadership, coaching, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Graduate/MBA in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–6 years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in logistics, courier, shipping, e-commerce, or courier aggregation.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience managing a sales team.
Candidates with experience in B2B logistics sales, courier aggregation, D2C/e-commerce shipping, or SaaS/logistics-tech platforms will be preferred.
