Project Context
You will be a key structural design lead on mid- to high-rise residential and mixed-use developments in Jaipur, typically ranging from G+8 to G+20 floors, with project budgets in the range of INR 50–200 Cr. As a consultant in the design phase, you will be responsible for end-to-end structural design and coordination for RCC framed structures, foundations, and associated elements, ensuring compliance with IS codes and client/PMC requirements. The projects involve seismic design for Zone II/III/IV conditions, tight urban plots, and fast-track approval timelines, demanding robust yet economical solutions. You will work closely with architects, MEP consultants, geotechnical consultants, and client/PMC teams, supported by an internal design and drafting team, to deliver coordinated, construction-ready structural packages.
Role Summary
The Senior Structural Engineer will lead the structural design and coordination for assigned projects, ensuring safe, code-compliant, and buildable solutions that balance performance and cost. You will own the structural design deliverables, guide drafting teams, and act as a key technical interface with clients, architects, and site teams. Your work will directly impact reduction of rework, cost control, and the establishment of robust design-to-site processes.
Key Responsibilities
- - Lead structural analysis and design of RCC framed buildings (foundations, columns, beams, slabs, shear walls, staircases) as per relevant IS codes, ensuring safety, serviceability, and economy.
- - Develop and review structural models in STAAD.Pro/ETABS/SAFE, perform manual design checks, and finalize member sizes, reinforcement, and foundation schemes.
- - Oversee preparation, review, and coordination of structural GA drawings, reinforcement detailing, and bar bending schedules with drafting teams, ensuring clarity and constructability.
- - Coordinate closely with architects, MEP consultants, geotechnical engineers, and client/PMC teams to resolve clashes, incorporate design changes, and maintain structural integrity.
- - Prepare comprehensive design reports, calculation notes, technical specifications, and responses to RFIs/technical queries from site and client teams.
- - Support site teams by interpreting drawings, addressing constructability issues, and feeding back site learnings into design to reduce rework and improve quality.
- - Contribute to setting up and refining internal design standards, QA/QC processes, and documentation practices for structural design deliverables.
Must-Have
