Full job description

Role & Responsibilities:

The Document Controller will manage, organize, and maintain all project and corporate documentation to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with internal standards. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can coordinate with multiple departments, maintain structured filing systems, and support smooth document workflows.

Maintain and update document control systems, registers, and logs for all incoming and outgoing documents.
Ensure documents are reviewed, approved, and distributed according to company procedures.
Organize and archive physical and digital files in a structured, secure, and easily retrievable manner.
Monitor document workflows to ensure timely submission, revision, and approval.
Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to collect and distribute documentation.
Perform quality checks to ensure documents meet formatting, naming, and version-control standards.
Prepare reports, document status summaries, and tracking sheets as required.
Support audits by providing accurate and complete documentation.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Experience & Qualifications:

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Document Controller.
Strong knowledge of document control systems (e.g., Aconex, iConnect, Asite,SharePoint, EDMS,etc.)
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with ISO standards is an advantage.
