Senior Data Scientist – Chennai (AI/ML & BFSI Focus)

Experience: 6–8 years in Data Science/ML (preferably in BFSI or other data-rich industries)

Role Overview

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will design, build, and scale AI/ML solutions that power enterprise sales acceleration. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform financial services through data-driven decision-making, risk intelligence, personalization, and predictive modeling.

What makes you right for the role?

Advanced AI/ML Modeling – Develop and deploy scalable ML algorithms for risk modeling, fraud detection, customer intelligence, and hyper-personalization.
AI Productization – Translate complex AI research into production-ready solutions driving enterprise adoption.
Data Strategy – Partner with business stakeholders to identify data opportunities and define AI-driven use cases.
Thought Leadership – Evangelize AI applications in BFSI through prototypes, presentations, and client workshops.
Team Leadership – Mentor junior data scientists, drive best practices, and lead innovation sprints with engineering and product teams.

The person you’re

Strong academic foundation (Master’s/PhD in ML, Computer Science, Applied Math, or Statistics).

Proven experience in applying machine learning at scale within BFSI or similar domains.
Expertise in Python, ML frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Ability to translate business challenges into AI-driven solutions with measurable ROI.
Passionate about experimentation, innovation, and pushing the boundaries of applied AI.

Chennai-based with flexibility to travel for client discussions and collaborations.
