Job Description – Electrical Project Engineer

Experience: 2 to 6 years
Location: Vatva, Ahmedabad
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic electrical project engineer with expertise in both design engineering and site execution. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for electrical projects, from tendering and design to commissioning and maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct electrical design and analysis, including load calculations, fault studies, and equipment sizing.
Prepare and review single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
Design earthing systems, lightning protection, and solar power integration.
Develop BOQs, tender specifications, and technical documentation.
Prepare quantity take-offs and RA bills and verify contractor/labor bills.
Send enquiries to procurement/subcontractors, analyze vendor technical/commercial offers, and prepare comparative statements for vendor selection.
Participate in pre-tender meetings and site visits and prepare site visit reports to analyze project scope.
Provide technical clarifications to clients and incorporate changes as required.
Oversee project planning, material management, and site execution.
Lead testing, commissioning, shutdown/maintenance jobs, and quality assurance activities.
Guide and supervise site teams for safety and compliance.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and clients to meet project requirements.
Maintain daily reporting and documentation for management and clients.
Be ready to travel and work on-site as required.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of electrical design standards and practices.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical calculation tools.
Ability to analyze vendor offers and prepare cost comparative studies.
Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Flexibility to travel and manage site activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
