About the Company

Savera Forever Pvt. Ltd. is a contemporary jewellery brand specializing in silver and lab-grown diamond jewellery. As we continue to expand our retail presence, we are looking for a proactive and commercially driven professional to support our business development and expansion initiatives.

Role Overview

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for Savera through partnerships, franchise development, property scouting, local businesses, customer acquisition initiatives and other relevant channels.

The role will involve a mix of lead generation, relationship building, sales, market research, partnership development and on-ground business development.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys meeting people, identifying opportunities and converting conversations into tangible business results.

Roles & Responsibilities
1. Property & Store Expansion Support

Assist in identifying and scouting potential commercial properties for new Savera stores.
Conduct preliminary research on potential locations based on footfall, catchment area, visibility, accessibility and surrounding businesses.
Visit shortlisted properties and collect relevant information regarding rent, deposit, size, location and other commercial terms.
Coordinate with property owners, brokers and other relevant stakeholders for property-related discussions.
Maintain and update a database of potential properties and locations.

2. Franchise Development Support

Assist in identifying potential franchise partners for Savera.
Research and build a database of prospective franchisees and business partners.
Initiate preliminary communication with potential franchise partners through calls, messages, emails and meetings.
Coordinate meetings and follow-ups with prospective franchise partners.
Collect and organise information required for franchise evaluation.
Assist with the franchise onboarding process.
Maintain proper records of franchise leads and their status.

3. Business Development & New Opportunities

Identify potential business opportunities that can contribute to Savera's growth.
Research potential partnerships, sales channels and market opportunities.
Reach out to potential clients, partners and business contacts.
Support the development of new sales channels and business relationships.
Follow up with prospective clients and partners and ensure timely communication.
Assist in converting identified opportunities into active business prospects.

4. Store Sales & Revenue Support

Support in monitoring and improving store sales performance.
Coordinate with store teams to understand sales performance, customer requirements and operational challenges.
Assist in identifying opportunities to improve customer acquisition and revenue generation.
Support the execution of sales initiatives and business development activities aimed at increasing store revenue.

5. Relationship Management

Build and maintain professional relationships with property owners, brokers, franchise prospects, clients, partners and other stakeholders.
Ensure regular follow-ups with existing and prospective business contacts.
Coordinate communication between external stakeholders and internal teams.
Maintain accurate records of discussions, commitments and follow-up actions.

6. Market Research & Competitor Analysis

Conduct market research to identify potential locations, customer segments and business opportunities.
Monitor competitors, their store locations, expansion activities, pricing and business initiatives.
Gather information on local markets and emerging opportunities.
Assist in identifying potential areas for Savera's expansion.
Present relevant findings and market information to the Business Development Manager.

7. Coordination & Execution

Coordinate with the Marketing, Operations, Retail and other internal teams for business development activities.
Assist in executing expansion and business development initiatives.
Coordinate meetings, site visits, presentations and other activities as required.
Maintain proper documentation and records of ongoing business development activities.

What We Are Looking For

1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, client acquisition, corporate sales or a similar role.
Candidates from jewellery, fashion, lifestyle, retail, luxury or consumer brands will be preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable speaking with business owners, corporate decision-makers and potential partners.
Strong networking and relationship-building ability.
Good negotiation and persuasion skills.
Target-oriented and comfortable with numbers and sales goals.
Comfortable with field visits and meeting external clients and partners.
Willingness to travel for property visits, meetings and business development activities.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of opportunities from identification to closure.
Strong presentation skills and professional communication.
Fluency in English and Hindi; Bengali would be an advantage.

Compensation

Fixed Salary: ₹22,000 – ₹26,000 per month
Incentives: Performance-based incentives in addition to the fixed salary.
