Assistant Professor – Computer Science

Company: Aharada Education (In Collaboration with IIMT University)
Location: IIMT University, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh
Job Type: Full-time

About the Role

Aharada Education is hiring an Assistant Professor – Computer Science for its academic collaboration with IIMT University, Meerut. We are looking for passionate educators with strong academic knowledge and practical expertise in Computer Science to deliver high-quality education, mentor students, and contribute to research and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science.
Teach both theoretical and practical subjects in core Computer Science.
Develop lesson plans, laboratory manuals, assignments, and assessment materials.
Guide students in academic projects, internships, hackathons, coding competitions, and research activities.
Mentor students for placements, technical certifications, and career development.
Conduct research and publish papers in reputed journals and conferences.
Participate in curriculum development in line with UGC/AICTE guidelines and industry requirements.
Organize workshops, seminars, coding bootcamps, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), and guest lectures.
Collaborate with industry partners to facilitate internships, live projects, and placement opportunities.
Contribute to departmental activities, accreditation processes (NAAC/NBA), examinations, and academic administration.

Qualifications

M.Tech./ME in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related discipline.
MCA with an excellent academic record may also apply.
Ph.D. in Computer Science or a relevant discipline will be preferred.
Qualifications should be as per UGC/AICTE norms.

Experience

Freshers with excellent academic records are encouraged to apply.
1–5 years of teaching, research, or industry experience in Computer Science is preferred.
Experience in curriculum development, laboratory management, or funded research projects will be an added advantage.
